"The Bain Marie" is a free-choice, covered 4-tray "free-choice" mineral feeder designed with a Bos Bag mount for passive self-medication for external parasites.
"Free-choice mineral feeders enable stock to choose which minerals they may be defecient in at any stage of their growth or the season. Trusting nature takes the guess work out of choosing a lick and is usually more economical. When deciding tray contents, a good place to start is with a COLEBY MIX in one tray, LIVESTOCK GRADE BIOCHAR with ACV (garlic) and SALT in another, and (for breeding animals) a PHOSPHORUS based lick in another. All products are available as "loose lick" and in block form from Bos Rural. Many of these inputs are allowable under Organic Management Plans.
